Let’s get you back movin’ & groovin’!

Meet Tanisha

I’m Tanisha — an Accredited Exercise Physiologist specialising in women’s health and pelvic health rehabilitation.

With over 4 years of clinical experience as an Exercise Physiologist and a background as a Pilates instructor, I support women to return confidently to exercise through a tailored, whole-body approach grounded in evidence-based care. I believe exercise is medicine — and when prescribed correctly, it can be truly transformative.

My work focuses on helping women navigate pelvic floor symptoms, post-surgical recovery, and complex presentations such as pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and hypermobility — particularly for those wanting to return to strength training, gym-based exercise, Pilates, or higher-intensity movement without fear or restriction.

I don’t believe in endless Kegels or isolated fixes. Instead, I take a whole-body exercise physiology approach, addressing how the body moves, loads, and works as a system to resolve symptoms and rebuild confidence in movement.

Alongside my clinical practice, I’m also the co-founder of the Women’s Health & Exercise Summit (WHAES) — an online Exercise Physiology summit created to advance education, connection, and evidence-based practice within women’s health. This reflects my deep commitment to raising the standard of care for women and supporting both clients and clinicians in this space.

At the heart of my work is helping women feel capable and confident in their bodies and movement — removing pelvic floor barriers so they can return to the life and exercise they love without symptoms holding them back.

I have Accreditations in

"I have been so thankful to have found Tanisha and her services. After a referral from my women's pelvic health physiotherapist, I met Tanisha and instantly felt all my anxiety lift as I finally felt understood for the first time. Tanisha helped me recover from my birth injuries physically, as well as emotionally and mentally. Her expert knowledge in the area of pelvic floor health is obvious as she incorporates it into all her messages and programs that she prescribes. With her compassionate and non-judgmental approach, I was able to talk about things that I hadn't spoken to anyone about and felt the shame lift as I started to understand how common these concerns are for many women and how, with the right support, it can be easily managed. Tanisha was so helpful in getting me to understand the intricacies of posture changes and corrections, and how this can impact the pelvic floor. She was very easy to communicate with and also kept my exercise routine varied with a new program every few weeks or so. Under Tanisha's guidance, I was also able to recognise other underlying health concerns that I was suffering in terms of hypermobility and chronic fatigue, and this led to me getting further specialised treatment, which was life-saving in many ways. I wish I hadn't waited so long postpartum to work with Tanisha and I further wish I'd had her guidance throughout my pregnancy. " - Maggie
